The sugar industry in Kenya is cartel dominated. Western Kenya & Nyanza cane farmers cannot grow cane when importation is more profitable than milling. Don't know if Pres. Ruto is fully convinced he must clean it up but to do so he'll need to be extra-constitutionally ruthless.
