Work started to demolish another house today in the northern end of Thorpeness (on the #Suffolk coast, south of #Dunwich), due to coastal erosion. Jean Flick's house is the second in the street to be demolished since 2022. eadt.co.uk/news/25577738.…

In other #Suffolk archaeology news: recent discovery in a disused clay pit in Barnham, #Suffolk (NOT Barham, Suffolk as I erroneously reported earlier) suggests human use of fire was 350,000 years earlier than previously thought. nhm.ac.uk/press-office/p…
