This week, in Year 5, we have been exploring the rotation of the Earth and how it causes different countries to experience day and night at different times.

Pathfinders had so much fun bringing the story of Little Red Riding Hood to life using wooden instruments, xylophones, and bells. They also loved experimenting with tempo – speeding up the music to build excitement and slowing it down to add suspense. Well done, Pathfinders! ⭐️

In PE today, Pathfinders worked in pairs to recreate the movements and facial expressions of their favourite fairy tale characters. There was so much fantastic drama, imagination, and expression on display β€” the children really brought those characters to life! Amazing work!πŸ‘πŸ’›

Year 2 have been learning about different methods of communication. We learnt about telegrams and how soldiers used them in the past to send messages to their families. We wrote our own telegrams and thought about what important things we would want to tell our families. #History

This week in Art, Year 6 explored color palettes for their printing work. They mixed colors with care and gave them creative names like autumn sunshine, wild mushroom and amazing aubergine. Which name do you like best? #art #creativity

This afternoon, Pathfinders class got extremely creative and messy during Art! 🎨 First, we shared the wonderful fairy tale, Cinderella. Then, we moved on to create either a clay earring box for Cinderella or a clay medal box for the prince! πŸ‘‘ Well done, Pathfinders! 🧑
