After 21 years in TV, I found my second love - adventure travel! Love food and dogs. Hate routine. Allergic to morons.

🙄I worked 12-14 hr days (including Sat & often half-Sun) for the first 14 years of my working life post my graduation. And then I got cancer. Guess what 2 of the 5 most common things majority of cancer patients suffered from before the disease struck? Lack of sleep & stress.

I think it’s interesting that BCCI scheduled only Asian teams for this match in Delhi - they knew how bad the AQI would be & that countries like South Africa, England, NZ, Netherlands etc would probably refuse to play in that foul air.

I was Ramon Chibb’s boss at Nat Geo when he directed Mission Udaan back in 2005 bit.ly/MissionUdaan. Even then he was a perfectionist. Siddharth Anand we are co-sufferers! The VFX guys who did the aerial action - u have my sympathies as well! It is so hard to satisfy Ramon!

Some of these schools are run by good solid people for over 3 decades now. People respected the world over for their skills. But so much easier to ban, shut down, terminate. Less work involved. Register, license, monitor…uff, too much work! Sad. tribuneindia.com/news/himachal/…

I’ve trekked in Nepal for so many years. Always felt the warmth and acceptance of the locals. On my EBC trek last month, for the first time ever, I felt a distinct coldness. 1/3

2/3 - From the local money exchange refusing to exchange INR - earlier they would refuse higher denominations but this time we were dismissed without even a glance. It was puzzling.

3/3 Earlier, young teenagers going to school would stop and ask us where we were from. The “India” response would light up their face, a friendly chat would follow. This time, it was a shrug, eyeball rolls & a walk away. Never felt this animosity before.

Actually I have a tangential question…how would you call 25+ cities in 11 days a holiday? With 2 kids! Sounds hugely stressful🤦‍♀️

I look at idiot journalists like this and think - dammit, I wasted 5 precious years of my life working with a news channel for this? This level of journalism? I want my 5 years back!

Let’s not always blame the Indian tourist. Let’s also talk about operators that do this nonsense thinking they’re untouchable. Seriously Mahindra Group anand mahindra , is this how you want to rise??

How many more school and work days will be lost because of the inefficiency of the Karnataka government - present & past? It’s not the rains that’s the problem. It’s the infrastructure! CM of Karnataka timesnownews.com/education/bang…

Dearest IndiGo , pleasant flight thank you. But please, would you stop with these marketing campaigns that litter our oceans? You’ll chuck these by the end of the year and you would have printed thousands!

We Indians must have really low self esteem , really low sense of hope and justice… that all over North India the air quality is so so so bad, year after year, and there’s no protests! Just silence. The govt taxes us highly, on everything… and gives us no solutions to this

Dilshad Master (@dilshadmaster) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Not silence. They’re busy talking…each party blaming the other. Each underling happily chucking mud at the other, while the rest of us gasp for air. Especially the ruling party, because they want to win the Delhi elections. They will rather let people die than do something.

I was in India ⁦⁦⁦airtel India⁩ . At Bum La - the 15,500 feet pass between India and Tibet. I was NOT in China. Perhaps ⁦Ministry of Information and Broadcasting⁩ should be looking more closely at how India’s telcos recognise our borders. I want these charges reversed please.

THIS. India aims to receive 25 million foreign tourists by 2030. Between Jan to Aug '24, we were around 6.91 million only - btw, just for perspective, Thailand hit 30 million last year ('24) & aiming for 40 million foreign visitors in '25. Let's clear the air first, then talk
