We've been talking about "Digital Mental Health in Low- and Middle-Income Countries", a report that the Wellcome commissioned us for on #mentalhealth. 💻🧠 In the report, we mapped the current landscape of #digitalmentalhealth initiatives in #LMICs.

Experts emphasise the importance of close collaboration with communities to ensure cultural relevance, highlighting the unique context of each LMIC. This is particularly important when apps are brought from high-income countries to #LMICs.

In "Digital Mental Health in Low- and Middle-Income Countries," commissioned by the Wellcome , we mapped the landscape of digital #mentalhealth initiatives across #LMICs. 💻🧠

In #LatinAmerica and the #Caribbean, academic institutions in #Brazil, #Mexico, and #Colombia spearheaded interventions aimed at addressing #depression and #anxiety through mobile apps and websites. Several studies reported partnerships with institutions in the US and Europe.
