I'm stuck in Gloucester Royal Hospital 😭

I came in a week ago struggling to walk.

I'm still struggling to walk, but have also had 6-7 seizures 😭

I'm currently feeling very sorry for myself.

For the last few days I've been feeling very light headed and queasy. My legs feel like I've drunk 3 bottles of wine in an hour! (If only I had!)

My pulse etc are all fine but I just feel absolutely rubbish!

Seriously #FuckCancer 😭

Today we join the whole of football in remembering the 97 people who went to a match and never came home. 

We salute all those who have fought tirelessly for justice and offer our deepest respect to families and friends who still live with that day 34 years on. #YNWA #LFC ❤️

Day 4 of my trip to Stiffkey in Norfolk has been fabulous!

Hubby and I did our favourite jigsaw and I beat him at Star Wars Scrabble!

We danced on the beach and scrambled over saltmarshes.

We cheered on the excellent Fakenham Town Ladies as they drew 2-2.

It was a magical day!

Day 3 of my trip to Stiffkey has been perfect!

Hubby and I explored the Saltmarshes, saw several wild deer and danced on the beach!

We ate some amazing food and I had a fab hot chocolate.

We saw a beautiful and misty sunset.

I listened as #AFCRD won 2-0! 💎💎

Todays game against Stourbridge marked 500 competitive games for AFCRD. These 500 games have seen us play 4,500 minutes of football in 6 leagues at 4 different levels. In this time we’ve had euphoric highs and some devastating lows.

Day 2 of my adventures in Stiffkey in Norfolk!

We went alpaca trekking, explored more of Stiffkey Saltmarshes and had a wonderful dinner at the Stiffkey Red Lion!

We also danced on the beach and drew pictures in the sand!

It has been a perfect day of making fantastic memories!

After a devastating scan result yesterday, I'm back in my beloved Stiffkey in Norfolk!

I'm here for a long weekend which should be awesome!

Tonight I'm watching the Lionesses play in the #Finalissima .

Tomorrow I have an alpaca trek booked!

So it turns out that I was right to be worried, the cancer is having a massive party in my liver 🙄😭

I get 3 weeks and then I start a new combination of chemo drugs.

I really f***ing hate cancer 🤬

Have I mentioned lately that I hate scanxiety?

I find out tomorrow if my latest IV chemo Paclitaxel is working or not.

If it is working I get another 3 months on it.

If it isn't working I have to move onto one of the few treatment options I have left.

I'm f***ing petrified 😭

It was definitely springtime at WWT Slimbridge today! The 2023 goslings have started arriving! 😍

Hubby & I had to visit 4 pharmacies before we found one that could partially fill my prescription today.

The scary thing is that these weren't rare drugs.

Last time we tried to get my rarer prescription drugs it took 9 pharmacies!

Thank goodness I live near so many pharmacies!

On the way to the hospital for my CT scan yesterday, hubby and I visited Beale Wildlife Park near Reading.

My favourite animals from this visit were definitely the capybara who were playing in their pool!

Adorable animals definitely help counter the terror of scanxiety! ❤️

I've just had my CT scan at the The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust Sutton.

The scan was to see if my IV chemo Paclitaxel is working and successfully beating up my secondary breast cancer.

I get the results next Wednesday, so fingers crossed! 🤞

I was meant to be having a Macmillan Cancer Support / @bupa wellbeing assessment this morning.

Unfortunately they didn't ring me ☹️

When I rang them, they said they had no record of me, despite me having a confirmation email 🙄

I'm now waiting on them calling me back to rearrange 🤞

Hubby and I decided to finish a long week with a trip to Cotswold Farm Park. It was amazing!

We saw newborn lambs, baby goats, piglets and some other adorable animals including bunnies, donkeys, cows, horses and guinea pigs!

Basically it was my idea of a perfect day out!

A very good performance from The Diamonds who after a host of close chances to score can count themselves unlucky to only come away with a point.

The backline stood strong against our 3rd place opponents who’s saved penalty was their only clear chance.

I'm at the football watching #AFCRD play brilliantly!

After a long week of working and getting chemo, I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be!
