After we removed the plastered walls in the old pool room, what we discovered blew us away. The old stable and wheat store built around 1792

We removed the old Yorkshire stone roof, some of which was over 200 years old and replaced it with brand new 'Indian Stone' tiles.

One of our dreams, which is now rapidly becoming a reality, was to build an Orangery. Bringing the outside, inside. More coming soon!

So while digging away at the site we came across all sorts of old glass bottles. Some were buried 10' deep and some in wall cavities.
