Track resurfacing began on May 21st. Project includes a new long jump pit and runway in the East end zone area of the football field.

At the request of local law enforcement, we've been asked to share the following information.

Just starting the 4th month of construction of the new football/track facility entrance and parking lot project and much progress has been made. Entrance will include a ticket booth flanked by new restrooms on the North side and a concession stand on the South.

The new North parking lot is now available for use for home basketball games with an attached sidewalk leading to the front of the High School Gym. The parking lot can be accessed from Highway 75.

The City of Dewey is experiencing a water line repair issue that may require a citywide water shutoff sometime within the next few days. School closure is not necessary at this time, however, this is a fluid situation and that could change. Please remain aware.

Bond Issue Update - January 2025 Part of the student/activity parking lot has been completed and began being used after the Winter Break. The football/track facility entrance is forming up nicely and all fencing and sidewalks to and from the bleachers have been completed.

April 2025 - Bond Issue Project Update The football/track facility entrance (ticket booth, restrooms, concession stand) and the parking lot is now complete. Additionally, the High School Gym renovation has now begun with seating and ceiling tiles having been removed.

The school board recently approved the calling of a Bond Issue election to be held on 11/18/25 for the purpose of building a new 4,500 square foot Agricultural Education Building. This will provide $1,410,000 for construction and will NOT raise current property taxes.
