We’re in the process of sorting the recently donated records of Wippell and Co, ecclesiastical outfitters established in 1789. Yesterday one of our volunteers opened a box and found a parachute - a product of the company’s World War Two sideline.

We were represented here and it was great. Glorious weather and surroundings; wonderfully comprehensive presentations about Salcombe’s past from Roger and Abi.
