Have been training one client up on how to use WordPress so they can manage their own website. We like to empower clients.

Often asked to repair computers for people, before starting always ask "do you have a recent backup" and more often than not the answer is that there is no backup. Please if you do nothing else this week, backup your data.

Not just hardware we have worked on recently, some Windows issues including printing are just some of the fixes undertaken this week.

April saw training with several clients (charities) on how to maintain their WordPress websites, several computer systems fixed and websites updated.

Several clients have online booking calendars, we have been customising one of these to better show bookings and times more clearly.

Have been reviewing a demo website for a new, #Thatcham based, client which we are progressing. Fault finding on one laptop and implementing a simple backup policy. If nothing else, get a simple backup done, do it regularly and test it.

This week we have updated one website, provided advice on another for improving content (all #Thatcham based), and looking to some hardware upgrades for various equipment.

Keeping website code up-to-date this week, few bits of clean up, checking various settings, and ensure all is backed up. Not anything the end user will notice but still vital to keeping a site running smoothly.

Thanks to parts from iFixit our iPhone will go for a bit longer. Sticking with the Apple theme have had a MacBook Air 2020 in for repair this week. Also been fixing a few other laptops with WiFi issues and updating a fe websites too.

Have been out fixing a few Windows laptops this week for clients. Just a reminder ensure you have a backup of your files - things do go wrong and when they do you do not want to loose all your work/pictures/etc...
