Our #SundayTODAY photo of the week is 14-year-old Dev Shah, the winner of this year's Scripps National Spelling Bee. The 8th grader from Florida took home the trophy after successfully spelling the word, "psammophile." Shah defeated 228 other competitors to win the 50-thousand dollar prize.

While we are in yet another break, a quick story. Last year, former speller Sophia Lopez had her nails painted yellow, and Dev Shah and Charlotte Walsh each had Sophia paint the nail on their middle finger yellow. They finished 1-2, and nobody noticed the nail polish.
