There's something so unique and cool about seeing Lake Erie from above during the wintertime. After having some mild winters the past few years, we once again have heavy ice coverage across the lake. Counting the days until open water fishing season! 🎣

This process was truly unique to see first hand. What a cool project!

I'm thankful for these past ten years at DuraEdge and excited for the next chapter to be written.

First ever walleye derb was a blast! Big thanks to David (Doc's Tackle) and our teammates, Mike and Jeff, for such a fun weekend. We cashed and had nearly 30 lbs of Lake Erie eyes at the LEWT Casting & Jigging Open. I'm digging this multi-species deal 👍. #lakeeriewalleye

Happy Mother's Day to the most caring and devoted mother of our daughter, Eva. We are both grateful for all the things (they are many) that Meghan does for our family. And to my mother, Michele, for all she's done for me, and the love she has for her granddaughter is so great.

I'm thankful that the first day not guiding in a while lined up with probably the best weather we've had all spring. Casting to giant smallies on the big pond is what fires me up! We still have some May weekdays in the next couple of weeks if you want a chance at a giant 🐳.

Dennis had himself a day on Lake Erie, catching this 22" behemoth as well as a handful more over that 20" range. I'm very grateful we got to get out together on this beautiful day and blast them. We still have May 22nd and 27th open 🗓. Come have a chance at a giant!

From the show at SFT Tackle this spring and doing the seminars, I met Rob and Taylor, who I got the treat of fishing with today. We got two new PBs at 5.38 and 4.75, as well as new PBs for 2/3 from our afternoon crew of Cody, James, and Derek of 4.74 and 4.61 🎣.

What a fun (mostly) post spawn beat down with my friends from WV. Danny and the boys are so fun to fish with. After our fun earlier this spring, they came back to enjoy what May has to offer. Day 2 is coming tomorrow with a double before this weather gets nasty again.

North east winds were strong today, but we grinded through and were rewarded with our buddies from WV and our afternoon trip with Chris and company. I'm always thankful for some doable weather and great company to start our week. Tight lines! #BigFatBassGuideService
