.BBC Proms pre-rehearsal walk-through last summer. This hall opened in the 1800s and the walls here are steeped in history, marking major landmark events. From the suffrage movement to performances by modern influentials, this is truly so surreal. I'm filled with gratitude.

I've been #conducting music since 2002 and to this day, it's still one of the most enjoyable experiences. It allows me physically embody the music and connect with each individual instrument. Whether I'm teaching or performing, music always finds a way to transcend all boundaries
