Michael Brown Jr. should be alive today to celebrate his 28th birthday.

Black people deserve to grow old. We will continue to fight for justice and accountability in honor of those whose lives have been tragically cut short by those who sworn to protect us.

.Cardi B, let’s talk about it. Your voice matters, and our communities have to look beyond the presidential race.

I invite you to speak with the NAACP on how we can all use our collective power this November to elect everything from mayors to school board members.

When the actions of our elected officials betray the ideals of equality and justice that they have pledged to champion, we must speak up.

This kind of conduct jeopardizes the very fabric of our government and erodes faith in those appointed to serve us. bit.ly/3UNqOGn

Racial neglect and discrimination have left the city of Jackson in crisis for far too long.

We've been advocating on the ground since day one, and our fight continues until clean drinking water is a reality for all.

Far too many Black Americans have been wrongfully targeted by the justice system. Marilyn J. Mosby sought only to better her family’s life, yet now faces undue prosecution.

The NAACP stands firmly against forces trying to undermine Black women in power. bit.ly/3wAX8mt

Reflecting on my days at Tougaloo1869 following the Two Rivers Gala on Friday, where I was honored with the Light of Justice award.

Tougaloo taught me to challenge injustices at every turn and to strive for a more equitable society. It was a full-circle moment.

If a student can be expelled for racist taunts, a congressman (Rep. Mike Collins) can be held accountable for celebrating their behavior.

Urge your representative to take action by ensuring that congressman is investigated: bit.ly/3UNqOGn

Racism has no place in Congress or anywhere else in our nation.

Rep. Mike Collins' decision to condone racist behavior at Ole Miss cannot be tolerated.

Join us in calling for the Ethics Committee to launch an investigation into the congressman's actions.

A Black Woman was victim to pandering, racist remarks and gestures, and hateful speech with the hope of breeding fear, isolation, and retreat.

She marched forward anyway.

I hope racists like Mike Collins took note of that as well.

Frank Tyson should still be here.

This tragedy is yet another devastating reminder of the urgent need for transparency, accountability, and reform within our policing systems.

There must be a federal investigation to ensure justice is served. nbcnews.to/4aWnkH7

This is a historic step in the right direction.

Let's not forget: the war on drugs was really a war on Black people leading to unfair arrests, convictions, and sentences. Now's the time to address the disproportionate impact of marijuana criminalization.

So now young white men from Iowa feel like they don't belong in spaces that were quite literally built with them in mind? 🙄

This is a reality countless Black and Brown students are faced with every day.

These ongoing attacks on DEI are becoming increasingly outlandish.

In this nation, diversity is not only our shared reality but also one of our greatest strengths.

We must reconcile with our past and celebrate our differences if we are to progress toward an equitable and inclusive future where everyone can thrive.
