🎉 Exciting news! Dr. Pengcheng Shang identified murine neuropilin 1 (mNRP1) as a new receptor for reovirus. His studies inform how neuropilin receptors might function in dissemination and pathogenesis for diverse viruses. Read more: authors.elsevier.com/c/1j3Rk6t8JEqo…

The Dermody Lab has been busy! Olivia Welsh's research shows efficient encapsidation of the σ1 protein in reovirus boosts cell binding, replication, and spread in mice. This could enhance design of improved reovirus oncolytic therapies. Check it out: doi.org/10.1128/jvi.00…
