I'm delighted to share that I have joined Open Targets team as Experimental Science Director and I look forward to working more closely with the fantastic Open Targets community. opentargets.org

Great career opportunity as a Senior Staff Scientist in our lab (jobs.sanger.ac.uk/vacancy/senior…). Help lead our efforts using functional genomics to study genetic epistasis in cancer. A diverse and challenging role with opportunity for development. Closing date March 26th. Please RT.

This is important work to track and prevent further transmission of #COVID19. It leverages world-class capabilities for DNA sequencing and analysis built up over decades. Thanks to the dedicated team Wellcome Sanger Institute and across the UK making this possible.

Open position for a Junior Group Leader in AI for Oncology at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. Feel free to get in touch ! Antoni van Leeuwenhoek The Netherlands Cancer Institute More info here: jgl-ai4cancer.nl

We'll be showcasing some of the different ways we're using #depmap data for drug discovery. Garnett Lab

My webinar on using functional genomics for cancer drug discovery is now available to view here: milner.cam.ac.uk/milner-seminar…. Join me for a live Q&A at 1pm today. Cancer Dependency Map Sanger #depmap

CELLector is useful new tool that mines clinical data to define molecular sub-types and then maps these onto in vitro cancer models. This can help you find the right cell model for your work. Congratulation to Hanna Najgebauer @Francesco_i0ri0 and team. Part of Cancer Dependency Map Sanger

This is great work by Cancer Dependency Map Sanger The Cancer Dependency Map working collaboratively to bring together an integrated dataset for 800 cell lines. Have fun everyone who, like us, enjoys working with these rich datasets! #depmap #CRISPR

Nice to see this summary on using Cancer Dependency Map Sanger to study drug MoA from Jesse Boehm and Francisca Vazquez. #depmap.

Good protocols are critical for advancing science. Thanks to the work of the technical team Wellcome Sanger Institute to produce these beautiful SOP for deriving and culturing tumour organoids. Includes tips, images and videos, all freely available. Technician Commitment #depmap The Cancer Dependency Map

(1/5) We are delighted to share the updated Project Score database (score.depmap.sanger.ac.uk) and accompanying paper Nucleic Acids Res (academic.oup.com/nar/advance-ar…). The Project Score database uses CRISPR screens to investigate cancer dependencies and prioritise candidate targets.

Grateful to have contributed to this study mapping dependencies in OSCS from Asian patients as part of Cancer Dependency Map Sanger.
