April 27 was Crow and Raven Day! Did you know that crows and ravens are considered some of the most intelligent birds in the world? Keyo, the white-necked raven, is one of the smartest animals that calls DZ home. She always keeps her Animal Care team busy with training sessions!

We celebrated #VolunteerAppreciationWeek with our passionate DZ volunteers! In 2023, our 512 volunteers contributed 41,683 hours in support of our mission. That is more than 81 hours per volunteer! Be sure to say hi to our incredible volunteers and thank them for all they do!
