I am so proud to win in the streets of Tokyo, where the people have running in their heart and minds. It’s great to now have won 4 out of the 6 Abbott World Marathon Major races. Finally, I want to say I want this world to unite. My win today is to bring positivity in this world.

A very uncomfortable but important lesson am continually learning is that kindness is better than niceness. Which is why you'll have a better team if you can hire kind people, have less stressful friendships if your people are kind, & enjoy a better love with kind lovers.

I understand why so many people in Africa want to call Kenya a success, but please stop chiding us for wanting more for our country than the bare minimum. People not killing each other after an election is the bare minimum. We are allowed to want more, as are you.

I like that Tanzanians and Ugandans find our election process amazing and full of wonder. What I like even more is that we Kenyans are still expecting even more from ourselves and the iebc. May we not lower those standards. That's how you win.
