Today, Denmark joined 80 countries in reiterating the primacy of #PoC in armed conflict. Around the world, millions are trapped in conflict and living under unthinkable conditions. This cannot continue. The PoC is a legal & moral obligation of states and non-state actors alike.

DK🇩🇰joined 🇬🇧🇸🇱🇸🇮🇫🇷🇵🇦🇬🇷🇬🇾🇰🇷 in asserting that climate change, conflict, and civilian protection are deeply interconnected. Climate change increases protection challenges, requiring adaptive, climate-sensitive and resilient strategies.

At today's prep meeting on the implementation of the Two-State Solution 🇩🇰 stressed the importance of humanitarian assistance+early recovery and reform+revitalization of the PA. Denmark remains firmly committed to a future where Israelis & Palestinians live side by side in peace

Today, we commemorated the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers 🇺🇳🕊️ Denmark 🇩🇰 joins colleagues in honouring the UN peacekeepers, their efforts and their sacrifices. Since 1948 more than 50.000 Danish soldiers have been deployed in UN peace operations around the world #PKDay

Today, DK voted in favour of extending UNSC resolution 2733, and called for further efforts to ensure full implementation of the arms embargo on Libya. 🇩🇰 commends Operation EUNAVFOR MED IRINI IRINI for its efforts in deterring violations and ensuring accountability.
