𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: During the federal COVID-19 emergency, no one was kicked off Medicaid. Now states have 1 year to reassess Medicaid rolls & remove those no longer eligible, which is appropriate. But here in Arkansas, 1/4

the required assessment must happen in 6 months, not 12. The quick timeframe, combined w/ disastrous work requirement determinations from 2018, means 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟𝐟. 2/4

Medicaid users 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦 𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐏 or risk losing coverage. Arkansas DHS is mailing notifications to recipients now. Please be on the lookout for this letter. 3/4
