In 2020, I painted a powerful BLM mural near the Whitney Museum in Manhattan. It stood strong for 6 months—until Alec Monopoly decided to paint over it. The landlord hated it so much, they wiped everything out, covering the wall in brown and erasing the original bricks forever.
