Last week, we joined Denver’s business community for the 2025 Public Safety Luncheon. It was an afternoon of insight, innovation, and celebration of the partnerships, and dedicated people, who help make #Denver safer and stronger. 💪

Today, we honor all who have served. Veterans and first responders share a common bond — a steadfast commitment to protect and serve others, no matter the call. This Veterans Day, we thank those who have worn the uniform, and those who continue to answer the call to duty.

Last Friday we welcomed 45 new officers to the Denver Police Dept. Department! After completing the 26-week intensive training academy, these recruits are ready to hit the streets for field training. Congratulations and welcome to the Department of Public Safety.

Hats off to our Denver 9-1-1 team!♥️Staff have been hard at work crocheting hats for community members in need of extra warmth this winter. They created and donated 100+ hats to Denver’s STAR Program, which will distribute them across the city to those who need them most.

Its official! This afternoon surrounded by colleagues, family, and friends Executive Director Al Gardner was sworn in, marking an exciting new chapter for the Department of Public Safety and the City and County of Denver. ✅
