Here is the growth rate for the last 5 years. At 3.67%, Wisconsin's annual growth rate is #1 from big Amish states. Small Amish states averaged even higher (4.33%). US Amish population grew at an average of 3.26% p.a. in the last 5 years.

So I wanted to update Lyman Stone 石來民 🦬🦬🦬 graph on Amish fertility based on ACS samples of women respondants speaking Pennsylvania Dutch. I compared it to Yiddish speakers (good proxy for Ultra-Orthodox Jews in the USA). Amish TFR has been between 5 and 6, and shows no decline.

Donnermeyer released another Amish fertility study. The paper compares completed fertility across four Swiss Amish settlements. The value for Seymour and California Corners settlements is over 10! Adams county at 9.3. The most liberal of the four, Allen County, measured at ~7.5.
