Just had our direct debit mandate from EDF 🇬🇧 at the restaurant. We were on £1700 a month, that raised to £2600 this year, now they're quoting us £6400...a month! That's more than our rent! As a restaurant, we can't survive this. That's an extra £900 a week we need!

Depressing. Not even MPs understand that the energy price cap for businesses only applies to part of the bill (less than 40% of electric bill). Why should the energy producers & wholesalers be allowed to destroy other sectors of the economy like pubs/hospitality?

I met so many incredibly inspiring people at todays HospoDemo in London. Many I knew from on here, but each with the same story of fear, anxiety, lost hope and depression. It's critical our voices are heard. I've no intention of stopping.
