We are delighted that the Merseyside based PH Holt Foundation have awarded us a grant of £6750. This is brilliant news and helps us to continue offering social activities and support for local people living with dementia and their carers. PH Holt

Last week we said a very fond farewell to our lovely administrator Colette who is moving on to exciting pastures new. The word collage summed up Colette perfectly. All of us at Dementia Together Wirral wish Colette and her family all the very best for this new chapter.

Join DTW and others for a busy week of activities celebrating and offering advice to the thousands of carers living locally. We will be at Arrowe Park on Saturday 8th June 11.00am and 3.00pm and The Pyramids Shopping Centre on Monday 10th June 10.00am and 3.00pm.

We were delighted to receive a £200 donation recently from Gemini Theatre School, made in memory of Simon Preston. Simon always had a smile on his face and loved coming to our Musical Minds sessions.

On Saturday 22nd June you are invited to board the ‘dementia bus’ simulation from 10.30am to 4.00pm in the grounds of Gordale Garden Centre. The simulator gives someone an experience of what living with dementia might be like.
