As dementia progresses, you may see changes in a person’s behaviour. Family roles and relationships may change, and this can be challenging. Dementia Friend Tamsin once told us something important she learnt about dementia is that through all this, love remains.

Decreased sunlight may cause someone with dementia to feel increased anxiety and depression during the winter. You can help by making sure they’re exposed to natural daylight when possible. A quick walk around the block or sitting in the garden for a few minutes can do wonders.
