Access to community green space is vital to our quality of life, but our planning system too often prioritises the wrong things. Recent examples in Gelligaer and Trethomas have highlighted why the system must be changed, to strengthen community voices. Er mwyn ein llesiant 💚

The killing of Israeli diplomats in Washington was an utterly abhorrent act. My thoughts are with the Jewish community in Wales and across the world, as well as with the Muslim community, who will also now be fearful. We must not let hatred win.

Thanks to the courageous teams starting to get food and medicine into Gaza, against all the odds. We don’t know how long we’ll get, but we’ll save as many lives as we can with the time the world can get us. Every truck, every life, every sack of wheat counts. Let us work.
