Y1 have started their new geography topic. They have began their learning journey by understanding what continents are.

We have been busy outside today using our imagination during continuous provision; going on holidays, fixing cars, creating bug hotels and finding treasure ⭐️

We had a birthday today in class and celebrated by having birthday cakes. We spoke about our own age and what we would love to do if we had a birthday party 🥳

Wow, we are becoming amazing independent writers in Reception class. We are now writing longer captions such as “the boy is digging in the ground.” 🌟

We are learning to tell the time in year one! To introduce this new topic we had a ‘time party!’ Throughout the day the children identified when it was on the hour or half hour ⏰

Year 2 found out about the Victorian buildings in Cleethorpes which put the town on the map as a holiday resort before enjoying a popular seaside snack! Weelsby Academy 🌈
