Frederick Douglass was an anti-slavery activist, & travelled to Belfast to speak about the suffering of slaves & campaigned for the abolition of slavery. 1/2

Sinn Féin met today with the Commissioner for Victims of Crime NI Geraldine Hanna. Important issues discussed including putting her office on statutory footing with appropriate powers to protect victims privacy, improving how data is collected and used and tackling delays in the justice system.
