We are entering a relatively flat part of th course. The big teams inlcuding Lidl-Trek, Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe, Uno-X Mobility Cycling and INEOS Grenadiers are controlling the pace in the bunch. The gap is around 3 minutes to the break with 61 km to go!

The race is getting fast now. Max Walscheid and Joshua Huppertz are struggling to hold the pace on the KOM in Ormesheim.

KOM in Ormesheim was won by the Spanish climber Javier Romo of Movistar Team, second place by Oliver Mattheis of Team BIKE AID and third for the German sprinter Max Walscheid!
