I've been thinking... #naturalproduct #biosynthesis (& many other) figures are begging to be shown in action, so I made a totally fake, yet plausible, NRPS biosynthesis of "fakeomycin" feat. a Cy domain. I want more GIF figures in my life! #chemdraw #chemtwitter #scienceanimation

BOSTON/CAMBRIDGE! I’m looking for people with cars in the area that are willing to go grocery shopping and delivering items for families going through food insecurity! We have the money to buy the food. We just need the delivery (instacart has too many fees). DM me if interested!

Next week, the Nobel Prizes will be announced. I don’t know who will win - but I think that we can make some educated guesses about who might:

#WomenInScience are still underrepresented and struggle to get recognition for their achievements. On 11 February, take a stand with UNESCO and UN Women to end gender bias that holds girls back from pursuing a career in #STEM!

The ugly reality about diversity in the academy comes down to a simple question - who is allowed to be less than perfect? Far too often we demand that people who come from uncommon backgrounds to live a mistake free life just to be given a chance to demonstrate their gifts.

We report that simply clustering a MSA lets #AlphaFold predict multiple states of fold-switching proteins. We used this to screen for alt states in proteins without known fold-switching, and describe one such predicted novel state for the DsbE enzyme. 1/n tinyurl.com/4ewfxf7x
