This morning a situation occurred at Highland High School, we are working with law enforcement Currently all high schools are on lockdown

LASD reported they have a suspect detained At the advisement of the LASD, all AVUHSD schools will remain locked down.

In an abundance of caution, all afternoon sessions @ Desert Winds, RRex Parris, On-Site Continuation Programs have been cancelled.

The lockdown has been lifted at all schools except Highland High School. HHS School families will received separate updates.
