Meet Aisha Mahamud! Aisha is an #EarlyCollege student at Dearborn STEM, where she takes college credits at BHCC Boston and Wentworth Institute of Technology. To date, Aisha has taken 11 college classes, and earned more than 30 credits! She talked to us about her experience. Thread (1/7)

But Aisha knew she wanted to pursue something outside of Nursing. Through her #EarlyCollege experience and other work-based learning experiences Dearborn STEM, she found a passion for working and researching in a lab, motivating her to pursue Pharmaceutical Science! (3/7)

@dearbornstem 10th, 11th, and 12th graders visited Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)'s Plasma Science and Fusion Center. Congratulations to Gabe, Gilmara, Destiny, and Franklin, who finished 2nd in the BUILD Business Plan Competition! BUILD.org is an entrepreneurship program for high school students that teaches them the skills they need to launch their own businesses.

BU Community Relations staff delivered microscopes donated by Boston U Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine to the Dearborn STEM, John D.
