Bryan Setzer will be the new Varsity 1 coach this season. A huge thanks to Dan Lukes, who has led this program the last several years. Dan put in countless hours so that many young men had an opportunity to play competitive baseball and has left the program in excellent shape.

DP 16U off to a good start with a 7-3 win over Neenah 16U. Bennett Barth 2/3, Dawson Falish 1/2 with 2 RBIs, Avery Brodbeck 1/3. Aiden Hendricks goes 3 innings of scoreless ball for the win.

On Saturday, DP 16U dropped two at Chippewa Falls. Game one 2-3, game two 4-12. In game one, Dawson Falish, Evan Thompson, and Collin Mathies each had a hit. Aiden Hendricks had a strong outing, allowing 3 hits in 5 innings.

In game two at Chip, Chase Van Den Heuvel was 3/4, and Alec LaCrosse went 2/4. Ian Damshauser and LaCrosse each with an RBI.

Sunday DP 16U took on Eau Claire in a DH at Fairfax Park. Game one was tight but EC prevailed 5-6. Mason Walczak and Ian Damhauser each with a double. Brady Hendricks with a triple. Jack Gillis threw five innings, giving up 2 earned runs.

In game two, DP came out on top 6-5. Brady Hendricks collected 3 hits while Chase Van Den Heuvel went 2/3. A solid combined pitching effort from Henry Byrne, Ian Damshauser, and Alec LaCrosse.
