Day 31 #HistFicMay - what will my next book be? I'm writing a historical romance set in 1879 in New England and Scotland. Can't say much more about it at the moment, but it's got this sort vibe going on: Singer Sargent's portrait of Lady Agnew of Lochnaw. Out February 2026.

Last day of #histficMay and I'm working on book 22 of the Miss Underhay series and book 4 of the Secret Detective Agency.

Day 31 #histficmay My next #historicalfiction project will be a follow-up to Dearest Gunter. Still brainstorming, but it will be set in Interwar #Germany. I've also got 2 #historicals coming this fall: a #WWII fairy tale retelling and a post-#WWI novella featuring Lani from DG.

#HistFicMay If WIPs count, the next HF I plan to write is Sword of Truth, book 2 of my Zulfiqar Jaffery westerns. Otherwise, it's between book 3, Sword of Faith, in which Z has to spring a Filipino Moro revolutionary out of Ft Leavenworth, or an untitled sequel to Death in Sonora

Day 31 My next book will be Miriam's Boy - #4 of my Young Testament series, set in First Century Jerusalem. It's in the early stages of writing and simultaneously covers the same few years as books 2 & 3, with timid John Mark as main character. Thanks to all for #HistFicMay!
