Great contest guys! Was my 1st experience with Splash Sports. Tight platform. As to the multiple winners, I won in the sweet 16 using the strategy of picking the biggest favorite (or close) every day.

Of all the possible paths I thought regulated sports gambling in the US would might take, I have to say that 'ESPN leading the sheep to slaughter' wasn't one of them.

Would be interesting to see ticket sales and tv ratings vs number of bet slips by state in all sports. I'll wager regulated gaming is very good for sports in general.

Belief matters. The mind controls the body. The mind controls the mind. Apply that to sportsbetting. Believe you will time the market correctly. Believe you will find the key type of predictive data for your model. Believe you will make +ev bets.

The Pelicans boarded their flight last night at 11pm and landed at 5am. This kind of hard to find information makes the NBA tricky to bet.

Player props markets have large integrity issues. They're fine as a carnival game, but not as a market that can allow for true liquidity (big bets). Should be regulated as such.

Clear analytical strategy for NFL playoff overtime is to kick off 1st, then try hard as heck to not match your opponents' score (always go for 2, rarely kick fg's if down 3, or punt if tied). Its not close.

Josh loves field goals. Trying the long field goal on 4th and 1 from the Green Bay 31 doubled the Packers' chance to in, all the way up to 16%. Has to be the worst late game decision of the year.
