If you'd been there for the 1st 49 NAs Happy Endings was a BIG deal & a very exciting celebration, rewarding the long term fans. As We're All Stories In the End Podcast points out though, removed from that context, is there much there? Hard to say... I'm also discovering a HEAP of UK references I never got!

For my money English Way of Death is the weakest of Gareth Roberts’ four MAs… although they’re all great to very good! Just War however is one of the absolute sound outs of the books, with a great central premise, strong execution, and memorable moments.

Exodus is a top 5 NA… I remember when this came out, and a lot of fandom really properly appreciating just how good Dicks is when let off the leash.

Who Killed Kennedy is a wonderful, origins idea, which I very much enjoy, and have read 4-5 times! On the other hand Blood Harvest is a great, fun read!

Maybe it’s because it’s set during my faveourite season, and a sequel to my fabrics story… but I love Scales of Injustice!
