Wow. The surprise onside was such a great tool to have. A way to steal a possession. They are taking some really cool aspects out of the league. Not a fan for sure of some of the changes that have been going on in recent years.

Wow. Great job by the workers. We need more folks ready to stand up for what’s right. I’m sure some company would love to have these guys as employees. Hopefully that happens soon for these now fired employees.

Love working with specialists. Even more special when it’s family. Can’t wait to see what a healthy offseason of training will do for ya bud. I’m shocked how many colleges don’t actually coach specialists. No knowledge of technique or film study to improve players. Sad but true

Throw back to my 1st Kickoff as the full time kicker after doing long fgs and KO’s in 1999.Glad I refined that SOS so wasn’t so obvious later. But Dallas did sting us later in my career when we went to the well one more time. It’s Dallas week.Always love Madden’s take

Great memory of Ike Reese with an up and under, layin out take it off the foot. A lot little things add up to be big. Ike always added that little bit here and there to make a massive difference in the games.

When coaching HS/College/Pro Specialist,it is my goal to get improvement in technique from the athlete. It has to be persistent and consistent with the coaching.I’m blown away by how little many folks in authority for specialist actually know or care about player development

Hate to hear this. Coaches please do better. FG is different than taking the ball off a punter’s foot. Way better drill options to work on punt block. Hope this kid heals up well and comes back stronger.

Love this. Bill does an incredible job of explaining the evolution of the specialists. I got to be around when teams went to full time snappers, holders went from QB/WR to mainly punters and even saw some of the best specialized returners come in to play the game.

I’m going to just say this. If you are a coach that allows live blocked punts in practice then you are a complete idiot. I’ve seen broken legs/feet and torn up knees. Be better coaches. You are destroying these guys.
