6 more days till Japan! A week in Tokyo and a few days in Kyoto. I haven't been back since 2017 and am beyond excited!

First day in Japan was amazing! A lil jet lagged arriving later in the afternoon, but a ton of things to see around our hotel <3

Finally got the chance to visit Wolf Bar Asakusa! Our generous host, Ookami-san, mixed drinks based off our fursonas. I got to sneak in some drawing time too! Thank you <3 #オオカミバー

Spent the day in Shibuya at the Pokemon Center & the Nintendo store! Later we hit up Shinjuku at a cocktail bar with no menu - tell them a bit about what you like & they custom tailor the perfect drink. Also hit up Pawpads, a gay furry bar, and a bear club in the gay district <3

Went to a shiba inu cafe (they're so cuddly and defiant!), TeamLabs, Tokyo Art Museum, and finishing it all off with trying shabu shabu for the first time! <3

We hiked Fushimi Inari mountain, got an amazing kaiseki for our anniversary (specializes in tofu!), and got to feed/pet TANUKIS <3

We hiked half the day up top a mountain on a pilgrimage to visit all 88 Buddhist temples north of Kyoto! It was 35C and humid, but was a deeply personal and spiritual experience - one I'll cherish forever.

I watched my dad pass away yesterday. After a month and a half of struggling, he's finally at peace. I'm okay. I'm doing my best to surround myself with friends as I try to figure out how to navigate the next few days. I appreciate those who've reached out and kept tabs <3
