Great to have had the feedback from Insp Pete H team on the new @Edesix body worn video cameras. Overwhelming positive response on the new kit. Looks good for a full roll out now. Be glad to roll these out soon, they will be well recieved.

Its great we can start to show this off. Been a while developing it in the background and now ready for our roll out very soon.

This will be a key addition to the frontline in the current climate. The ability to take statements without the need to visit the witness. Helps with social distancing (and less travel). Glad to have this finally rolled out.

I went to see how the final setup was going at Blackpool ready for the new BWV roll out next week. The sight of just a few old cameras to the hundreds of new ones was great to see. Enough cameras for anyone who wants one when they need one @SuptRobertshaw

Today is the day......our roll out of the new BWV has started at West Division. So far so good with most of the team now using the new cameras. Such a good piece of kit and well recieved from officers. @SuptRobertshaw

It's been a busy couple of weeks, we continue to roll out Motorola Solutions BWV integrated with Pronto (which is being v well recieved) and we are really pushing ahead with Police Digital Service - NEP O365 rollout after getting full sign off last week. Great digital enhancements for Lancashire Police

Today I said thanks and farewell to the Digital Investigation and Digital Forensic departments as I move on to a new post. I have had a fab couple of years and the team have been amazing. DCI Willis takes on the role next week and I wish him all the best. They are in great hands.

A significant milestone in the BWV project today. We have completed the roll out to all front line users in Lancashire(except the odd user to mop up). We will offer the use to others in the new year but a huge achievement in a short period of time. @SuptRobertshaw @ACCLawson

After seeing a few tweets about the undercover officer on C4 last night decided to watch it on catch up. Despite my old team being heavily involved in the investigation of child sex offences, watching it at home seems worse. Shows how some things get left at work.

What a month of ups and downs. Firstly I got Covid which had a really good go at me, so much so I ended up in hospital. Thankfully I have recovered much quicker than I thought. Today has been a good day. I am so happy, relieved and extremely proud to have passed my CI board.
