If you control for birthweight when running the original authors' models, two things happen.
For one, they fit a lot better.
For two, the apparently beneficial effect of patient-doctor racial concordance for Black babies disappears:

The fact that so many people don't even know about the fake elector scheme in 2020 is wild. Especially given the fact that in several states dozens of people are facing charges and there has been at least one conviction.
To truly understand the stupidity of MAGA, you have to understand that Trump oversaw one of the fastest developments of a vaccine that changed the course of the deadliest pandemic in 100 years, and instead of capitalizing on it as a major campaign point, he can't even mention it.
