Although we are all exhausted today I’m still bursting with pride at the amazing performance Darrick Wood School Dance Company did last night at One Dance UK UDance London platform @TrinityLaban. Here’s a little snippet…they are all superstars in my eyes 🤩 Cascade Dance

The March snow tried to cause problems, but we persevered and still held Year 9 Options Evening - the result was probably the best turnout ever, and lots of positive feedback from parents and students. Options forms need to be completed by 27th March.

We are proud to announce that Charlie P has won the English Schools Championships in the Junior Boys Pole Vault! Charlie, who holds the year 9 100m record, also picked up a bronze medal in the 4x100m! Darrick Wood School

German flag flying on Tuesday to celebrate reunification 3rd October 1990. We teach German in Years 7-13 and love the fact that so many of our students gain GCSEs in a modern foreign language.

We enjoyed a fantastic Open Evening on Thursday, probably one of our busiest yet. As ever, we have received some really lovely feedback, especially about our wonderful student guides and subject ambassadors.
