Maria Radcliffe - a farmer at Yellow Walls Maria grew up in the same place as me, but nearly 150 years earlier. Dad was a farmer, but I never considered it as a career myself. #Genealogy #IrishRoots ๐Ÿ‘‰ blackravengenealogy.blogspot.com/2021/10/maria-โ€ฆ

My mother just got her first new-to-me big (279cM) DNA match on Living DNA, one who messaged me first! and I just identified another 3rd cousin. Happy out! #GeneticGenealogy, #IrishRoots.

Congratulations #ANZAncestryTime on your first anniversary. I'm not available to participate this summer/autumn (northern hemisphere) but I've enjoyed catching up later and the summary blogs. Big thanks to all the organisers! Would love more ANZ #genealogy focus too!

Hello #AncestryHour, my biggest find this week was a DNA match between my Dad and his 1C2R. They only share 55cM over 2 segments (on MyHeritage) which seems a tad on the short side, do you think!

Great service from #GRO_Ireland! I ordered a copy birth register this morning, received a payment link within an hour, and the pdf arrived in my inbox at lunchtime. Doesn't get better. Sadly, no father's name recorded, what to do now? #IrishGenealogy
