My son worked right from leaving school at 16. He became desperately ill last year (30 yrs later) & now receives the top rate of PIP. He can’t work because of epilepsy & memory issues; he’s one of those the Tories are targeting. I could tell them what to do with their vouchers?

It’s wild to me that we don’t collectively want everyone to live a comfortable life. We could all look out for each other and want the best for each other really easily but some folks would rather be divided.

Tip - If you’re gonna try and teach an autistic person “social skills”, don’t use a real situation they were in as an example and point out everything you think they did wrong. People tried that on me, just made me more insecure and socially anxious

Mental health has become a political talking point recently.

Lots of the rhetoric has been stigmatising, harmful and inaccurate.

It’s very distressing, and for some of us triggering, to hear mental health problems used as a political football.

It's sad a lot of people are trying to justify what they spend their PIP on today. I don't think people should have to. I think personally a voucher system would be prohibitively expensive to administer (labour intensive) and be siphoned off to private companies.

I am going to say, it's absolutely fucking terrifying that all these attacks on the most basic meagre supports for disabled people are being bulldozed in just as assisted dying/euthanasia is getting political traction.

Anyone who knows an ounce disability history sees it.

Children in Nazi Germany were taught to work out how much disabled people cost their families finances.
Just saying.

This government have blamed and demonised:

- Nurses
- Doctors
- Asylum Seekers
- Benefit claimants
- The homeless
- Those with mental health needs
- Lawyers
- Europe
- Those with disability
- Workers
- Non-workers

Projection much? Time for them to go.

The data suggests that most of the country is over the duopoly, it's not just me.
