This time last year I was saying goodbye to my old Trust. I wanted to end my time on an original note, and send the classic goodbye email with my own twist. So I attached the below in the body of a mass email. A few days later I joined East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust 💙 and the rest is history…

Oh look it’s another Bank Holiday… This month we’ve had three of them, and nothing’s collapsed. We’ve made it work because jobs don’t have to fit into five day boxes. More time for friends, family and taking better care of ourselves. The 4 Day Week Foundation is the future of work.

And that is that... A bittersweet feeling as I close this chapter at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust 💙 and say goodbye to the best bunch of staff I’ve worked with in the NHS.
