Language should not be a barrier to learning. Congrats Wuraola Oyewusi on your work getting accepted into the Global AI Cultures Workshop. We're building a solution that seeks to reduce the language barrier across all African languages. Would you be interested in having a chat?

This is the first time my bot will be hit with a different restriction in my not-so-long, but adventurous web scraping journey. This account level one, unlike IP limiting or captchas, blocks you from logging in for up to 12 hrs at a time, once you send too many requests. Crazy.

Found it very interesting that there's a large number of data nerds who do no know vscode supports ipynb. One kept insisting that jupyter was better, bruhh.😅

You think you are good at data cleaning and preprocessing until you come face to face with a very screwed up annotated image data. My colab notebook was so messy i wouldn't touch it for days. Currently done cleaning, 3am motivation ftw i guess.😅

I once crashed my vscode by printing 500k lines of a csv.😅 Now i use break excessively when looping. That way, i don't have to rewrite the logic when i'm done testing. I typically use indexing for selenium elements. Peep my hack for indexing a list of dicts with a dict btw. 😅

With each completed gig, i learn something new. That's on very fun part of freelancing, each client's requirement is different from the next, even though there may exist similarities.

Was contracted to clean up one of the dirtiest survey datasets I've seen so far. They wanted to convert many freeform text columns into categories, 10 max per column. With over 200 unique values, I had to use a dict and the Series.str.contains method. Real helpful.

Spent a whole day searching for a way to convert txt to pdf in python, not one-liners, complete 300+ pages of text, these LLMs were just recycling nonsense. Found it in the docs after like 5 minutes of research.😒

Takes around 20 secs to convert 1. Will just leave the PC running overnight. Had to parallelize it sha, so I can delve into other tasks.

And oh, gemini 1.5 pro is my second best LLM. Claude still tops, especially when you want strictly json responses without the unnecessary "certainly,..". Used it to automate text clustering for columns with non sensitive data.
