While the move to human voices over AI is of course a good thing, I am troubled by the justification being "human voices are better" instead of having a moral or ethical objection to AI. This implies that if they perceive AI as better in the future they will go back to it.

I love it. Sora experiences a colossal failure and shut down, doesn't even tell Disney about it until an hour before it happened, and then instead of learning any lesson from that, they immediately hop over to other AI companies. Masterful gambit.

Just finished watching Pluribus Good first season, excited for more. A little overrated, but definitely still great. Pacing issues are abundant, some scenes drag on for way too long like the Sprouts refurbrishing scene. Rhea carries the show Manousos Oviedo is my fav so far tho

I just realized that while I would probably be unimpressed if someone sent this to me, these are all things I would be endlessly amused by if I encountered them myself organically. The internet is so interested in being interesting, it makes interesting things uninteresting.

I always hear stuff like this, but it's never true. Biggest example I remember was Legend of Korra. Nickelodeon was worried about a female lead, so they tested it early with audiences, just to find out all the young boys were like "Korra is sick!!!!"

I've worked these kinds of booths before, and I've had some success when interacting with people came up to us, but I also understand that for some people, greeting them makes it feel like you're putting pressure on them to buy something and people sort of panic and move on.
