I would implore all casting directors to see the actors from #wonkaexperience - even if just for a general. They deserve some compensation out of this. Seriously.

The Scaff A Play, A Pie and A Pint is a total joy. Funny and moving story of friendship and angst. Massive congrats to @jordanblackwd and all the team. Brilliant work.

Just up to date but my that was one of the best #WrestleMania main events I’ve ever seen. Drama, liveness - just beautiful. To Cody Rhodes. To Roman Reigns. To Triple H. To all those amazing folk. To your era.

I have friends my age getting married, starting families, doing great things with their careers. Me? I just completed Spyro 1 and nearly cried.

Loving that there are so many new scratch/ new writing events happening in and around Glasgow at the moment. Lads, I write too sometimes. Dirty, funny little plays. Just saying…

Another year done teaching some amazing Royal Conservatoire of Scotland undergrads. Continually bowled over by their talent and courage. One day like this a year’d see me right.

#InsideNo9 finale was brilliant. Up there with the original Twilight Zone. Amazing telly and stories.

What a brilliant, bittersweet musical Sweet Charity RCS Musical Theatre was. Those 3rd years are such beautiful people to work with. I implore everyone to work with them too. Their talent radiates. A real joy.

A massive congratulations to all Royal Conservatoire of Scotland graduates today, especially those RCS Musical Theatre folks. Now go and do this gig better than us xx

Saw Jesus Christ Superstar live for the first time tonight. Aye I know Lloyd Webbers universally panned, isnae Sondheim etc. but it’s one of my favourites. To hear that music. Played live by an amazing band. Jesus Christ. Superstar.

#ToSaveTheSea Sleeping Warrior is totally brilliant. A proper musical. A proper great night at the theatre. If ever there was a claim to be made for Scottish productions to have larger casts this is it. Absolute class.

Saw the Jennie Lee play at Carnegie Hall tonight (the one in Dunfermline, not New York) and I’m thinking: That’s a brilliant venue for plays. Why aren’t more put on there? One of those proper pros arch spaces out with the Central Belt that merits a lot more.

I lasted 90 seconds into It’s A Wonderful Life before sobbing. A new record. Merry Christmas you beautiful bastards. May you continue to make the dark days brighter x
