DEJAN BELNAVIS, who was wanted in the homicides of Chasity Nuñez and her 11-year-old daughter Zella, has been taken into custody in San Diego, California.

Worcester Police are still searching for 27yo Dejan Belnavis in connection to Tuesday’s deadly shooting. Chasity Nuñez and her 11yo daughter Zella were shot and killed in while inside a vehicle.

Police say Belnavis is considered armed and dangerous at this time. #wcvb

BREAKING: A parent in Newton has filed a motion on behalf of herself and her three children to join the court fight against striking teachers. Two dozen other families submitted letters in support. #wcvb

Teachers in Newton are continuing to strike despite a Middlesex County Superior Court Judge ruling they must return to work.

That judge has imposed a $25k fine starting 8pm Monday night. That fine will double everyday until Friday when they’ll have to reappear before the judge.
