I couldn’t be happier to see President Biden right these wrongs. No one should serve a sentence that wouldn’t be given today. I hope Congress in the future makes reductions retroactive as a matter of course, but grateful to have clemency as a fix today. nytimes.com/2025/01/17/us/…

Very grateful to President Donald J. Trump for a historic moment in clemency. Nearly 2500 incarcerated people and their families will have long awaited relief - righting decades-long wrongs.

PA spends nearly half a billion dollars just on medical care for incarcerated folks in state prisons. They are also dealing with a ~40% vacancy rate for DOC medical staff. This is unsustainable. Torren Ecker and Rep. Rick Krajewski have a smart bill here to safely release sick folks.

I had just as many tds as both of them by myself. This is blasphemy.
